Pratik Mehta

Pratik is an experienced HR leader with 17 years of consulting and industry experience. He is currently spearheading Mahindra Leadership University (The Group L&D function). He joined the Group in February 2022 as a Vice President and since then has been responsible for the turnaround of Mahindra Leadership University. Today, MLU runs more than 70 programs on high impact areas such as Leadership Development, Digital and Emerging Technologies, Finance Leadership, HR Leadership, Women Leadership, Business Analytics etc. Furthermore, MLU now has a world class digital learning platform and is recognised as one of the Top 5 success stories in the Asia-Pacific region by Edcast. MLU has also become one of the fastest growing and well respected corporate universities in the country.

In addition to his MLU role, Pratik also held the Group Talent Management role for an interim period where he helped the leadership team re-design the Group’s Graduate Management Cadre program. Pratik also designed and is part of the Mahindra Future Shapers program that identifies and accelerates high potential talent to leadership roles across the Group. Apart from his role as the Head of MLU, Pratik also consults on HR matters with Group companies (e.g. Accelo organization structuring, Tech Mahindra sales capability acceleration) 

Prior to the Mahindra Group, Pratik was a Partner with Deloitte India’s Human Capital advisory practice where he led the Digital Learning and Leadership Development business from a P&L standpoint. Since early 2017, Pratik worked with the firm leadership to build the practice ground up and shape it into a market leading advisory business. Prior to this experience, Pratik was with HayGroup India and KPMG India and UK. 

Pratik has and continues to work with senior leaders (CEOs and other CXOs) on a range of HR consulting topics. He has worked extensively on projects related to Talent Management, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Digital Learning, Employee Experience, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Performance Management, Organization Design, Manpower Planning, Job Evaluation and Total Rewards. He has worked for marquee clients such as National Thermal Power Corporation, Indian Oil, Citi, Bank of Baroda, Kotak, State Bank of India, Renault, Nissan, Porsche, Lamborghini, Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda, JSW Group etc

Pratik is married to Kiyomi since the last 14 years and together they are raising 3 beautiful children (dogs). In his private time, he enjoys long distance motorcycling and driving, black and white photography, origami and running.
