Lead legal strategies and operations for renewable energy projects, ensuring excellence in contract management and effective mitigation of contractual risks. Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements such as EPCs, PPAs, PDAs, O&M contracts, and procurement agreements for major equipment (solar panels, wind turbine generators, etc.), while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Drive strategic initiatives including M&A, JVs, and MoUs, and manage related documentation such as Share Purchase Agreements (SPA), Shareholders’ Agreements (SHA), Business Transfer Agreements (BTA), Asset Purchase Agreements, Escrow Agreements, Investment Agreements, Subscription Agreements, and NDAs, safeguarding the company’s interests across all transactions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage and mitigate contractual risks, resolve disputes, and provide comprehensive legal support throughout the project lifecycle. The Head of Electrical Design & Engineering is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving all electrical design and engineering activities for renewable energy projects within the organization. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and grid integration specific to renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind, hybrid and energy storage. This leader will ensure the delivery of innovative, high-quality electrical designs while leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems for renewable energy projects, such as solar, wind, hybrid and energy storage systems.
• Direct the development of electrical system designs including power distribution, protection schemes, electrical controls, grid integration, and energy storage.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, CBIP, CEA, etc.).
