The Head of IT is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the company's Information Technology (IT) function. This role will be instrumental in driving digital transformation across the organization, ensuring the effective and secure operation of all IT systems and infrastructure, and supporting the company's strategic goals, particularly within the renewable energy sector.

Role & Responsibilities
1. IT Leadership:
  • Execute the overall IT strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
  • Execute digital transformation initiatives across all departments, including but not limited to:
    • Renewable Energy Technology Integration: Implement and manage IT systems for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing renewable energy assets (solar, wind, etc.).
    • Data Analytics & Business Intelligence: Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to gain valuable insights into operational performance, market trends, and customer behavior.
    • Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data, systems, and networks from cyber threats.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in the renewable energy and IT sectors.
2. Assets Management & Maintenance:
  • Supervise development, maintenance and security of all IT related assets (Server, Data, Network Devices, Telecommunication and other IT related equipment)
  • Ensures maintained and up to date IT assets register.
  • Continually review appropriateness of assets.
  • Strategize adequate security measures to protect company IT assets.
3. Project Management:
  • Lead and manage IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.

4. IT Operations Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including:
    • Network administration (LAN, WAN, VPN)
    • Server administration (physical and virtual)

    • Telecommunications management
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of all IT systems and infrastructure.

5. Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals.

6. Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant IT regulations and industry standards.
