In a transformative stride towards a greener tomorrow, Mahindra Susten is set to develop 200 MW of solar capacity to supply electricity to Gujrat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL). Moreover, the project can be developed anywhere across India, given that it links to the interstate transmission grid. In a visionary alliance, Mahindra Susten, a renewable power producer in the private sector, has penned a 25-year power purchase agreement with GUVNL for a cumulative solar capacity of 200 MW.Affiliated to the interstate transmission grid, the project will provide electricity supply to GUVNL at a steady rate, averaging INR 2.72 ($0.033) per kWh.
