Suhas Sutar, Head, Energy Storage, Mahindra Susten.
Suhas, like any one of us, loves to go on drives and loves spending quality time with his family when he isn’t working. An average work day for him includes an hour at the gym in the evening and getting on web calls with people from different time zones at the oddest of hours.
Suhas has been working at Susten for over 5 years and credits the organization for all the new things he has learnt and continues to learn. He believes in living sustainably every day, and therefore one of the essential things he does is to carpool to work with his colleagues.
Suhas’ son was born premature, and had to be placed in an incubator for 28 days – his son’s treatment called for blood injections. This gave him an understanding of how crucial blood donation is for the community, and how many lives can be impacted with this simple, yet profound contribution. He now actively volunteers to donate blood at Project Jeevandan, which is a blood donation initiative by Mahindra Susten.
Suhas is a man with an indomitable attitude and believes one should never give up. His mother has continually inspired him to be a positive person, not just in words but in deeds. She finished her B.Ed. at the age of 45 – a significant achievement for anyone. In his eyes, she is a true example of hard work, honesty, and perseverance.
