Saurabh is the Head of IPP BD & Regulatory Affairs at Mahindra Susten. He joined the team in 2015; he has spearheaded business acquisition and project development activities for Mahindra Susten's IPP vertical. His primary focus lies in securing a renewable energy portfolio consisting of solar, hybrid, storage, and RTC-based projects with sustainable returns.

Before joining Mahindra Susten, Saurabh garnered valuable experience working with esteemed organizations such as Reliance ADA Group and Electrotherm, where he held various leadership positions. Throughout his career, he has successfully facilitated the development of over 2.0 GW of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and solar thermal, from concept to commissioning. Saurabh has consistently delivered targeted returns across multiple geographies and under various business models, ranging from utility-scale projects to open access projects.

Saurabh holds an MBA in Power Management from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), specializing in projects and regulatory aspects related to the power sector. Additionally, he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat University.

Saurabh's expertise encompasses a unique blend of techno-commercial leadership, a problem-solving attitude, and a drive for innovation. These qualities align perfectly with the dynamic renewable energy industry. Over his 15+ years of experience, he has honed versatile skills in business development, regulatory affairs, land acquisition, project financing, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Saurabh's remarkable contributions have been recognized through prestigious accolades. He received the "Excellence in Techno-Commercial Leadership" award from Solar Quarter, acknowledging his significant contributions to both his company and the renewable energy industry. Furthermore, he was honored as one of the "RE Leaders of Tomorrow in Top 40 under 40 for Year 2022" by EQ International.
